Newbie question about chess

HI all,
I am trying to learn chess. I am trying to play the London opening system. On the youtube videos i see some of the replies black gives and how to act on it. On my chess engine LV.100 (rating 36, 1314) he comes out with Q and i am already lost and losing. I never seem to win with it any more. On the lower levels I could win with it. Should I try to learn another opening which is stronger but more complicated for beginners with lack of brain power due to age :)
Here is the opening replies:
I am white.
1. D4 D5
2. KnG3 C6
3. BF4 QB6
4. KnD2 QB6xB2
Hi danniego

To begin the chess, i council a opennig for the white:
Italian game

E4 e5
Knf3 knf6
Fe4 knf6 (some player play too Fe5...)
Kng5 d4
E4xd4 Knh5
Fb6+....

I hope help you

Solal

Ps: sorry for my bad english

A other nice counil for you, the value of the piece (mor the value is high, more the pièce is importante)

Krazy and knight: 3

Tour: 5

Queen: 10 or 9 (10 in the beginnig, 9 in the ending)

King: 1

Pion: 1

2 crazy are better then 2 knight
2 tour are better then 1 queen
2 crazy or 2 knight are better then a pion and a tour

Ps: Sorry if I don't reply in chat, I am on mobile and it is impossible

I am not very familiar with the london system,
but I do not recommend this opening,
now ironically, I think It is a very good opening
It looks easy to play, You get one bishop out then you have another after e3 and You can play moves like c3 to protect a white kings check on the a5, diagonal
what I mean, It is that It looks very solid,
It looks a very good opening but I do not recommend playing the reason, is imo because if there is one word that defines chess is tactics and what We beginners lack is tactics,
now check my last game,
http://en.lichess.org/P2kOZdVy#10
this is out of opening theory completely,
Ive never seen it played it before,
I just read a message in the forum that said bongcloud
king e2 and say let us play it,
now I saw the checkmate but I got distracted with the radio and failed
anyway my point is that, still I am not very good with tactics
because I had an easy win and due to time pressure could not manage,
but if I were a good player if my grasp of tactis were instantaneous neither the radio or time pressure would
stop the checkmate sequence, so they are lame excuses for lack of practice.
It also highlights this type of game, the possibility, well more like the fact that opening theory is overrated at lower levels,
what I am trying to say is that You have to play sharp games,
whether You like it or not because It is part of the game,
You can not really hide in chess in positional stuff because if Your opponent desires to complicate things, He will complicate them, thats why every chess player must have a broad scope of positions, strategies, now this is nice, easy to say but It is very difficult to accomplish,
I think that the best idea is to play e4,
now I play e4 by coincidence, my first book, my only book, was karpov and he said that, He is not the sharp, kasparov aggresive player but despite it He played e4,
and the fischer said e4 best by test, now
It might not be the best but I think It is the best for begginers, now I truly do not know whats the opinion of current grandmasters think, I think they agree but You also have to consider that they are at a very high level, so ironically again their advice might be more inaccurate,
than the advice of players of similar rating but a little more advanced
as We are closer to your problems, because We have the same problems, We deal with the same situations constantly,
grandmaster games are focused on making 20 moves and creating 2 minor pawn weakness, first one, then another, then the opponent divides the forces and somehow You enter, I mean they have a different plan, a very different perspective, I think It is fun and It is how It has to be,
the extreme example is Carlsen who has this computer style, very dry, but accurate and unforgiven.
Ok, so in summary what I am trying to say, is that play open stuff, get used to e4, e5, plain classic stuff, forget about hypermodern, go lasker, ruy, classic, open the center morphy, I think those are the games where you will get the most out of them
so those are my two cents, play open, play e4, play tactic.
The other advice is that chess is above all a game, so if You really enjoy the london system, just play it, there is nothing wrong with it.
But what if the replies from black are not that way? you keep developing your opening static the way described?
@motion thx for reply. I agree with you and try to learn chess organically and have just chess fun. But in the meantime you are also interested to learn something you can stick with it to develop your skills (tactics, how to reply to this and that). I understood london system is relatively easy for beginners and i could win with against the computer until this level it seems. (+1300). Maybe i should indeed abandon it and start with the e4 to learn and improve upon things.
