I think the hourglass time control would be great in Lichess. I have played it in Shredderchess.net, but it isn't very flexible on that site.

I never played hourglass or on shredder, care to enlighten us of the issues with it there?
I've always found hourglass time controls to be interesting.
In theory, I imagine it should be fairly simple to implement, since it would effectively just be a dynamic increment, where the increment you receive is equal to your opponent's thinking time the previous move.
Were I at all comfortable with scala I might try my hand at it.
#3: It only lets you choose 1 min hourglass; I would love to chose between 1 min, 1.5 min, or maybe even 5 min hourglass time controls.
