It didn't work at all for me, unfortunately. I didn't get any feedback from the site, so I cannot tell why. I tested my microphone with Discord, so it's not my hardware.

I'm using Firefox in private mode, no cache, cookies etc, no vpn.

There's a browser extention called "dmitlichess" which does it really well, you can chose between GM Dmitri Komarov, GM Maurice Ashley, GM Yasser Seirawan and NM John Chernoff as the voice and also let it add further commentary

Tried it. Works fine, but time is a real issue. " c d 4 " is not understood when the real move is "pawn c5 captures pawn d4" . It was the only piece able to catch.

Firefox private mode will not work until this is resolved. bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1639542

You can use a normal anonymous session in firefox (i.e. not logged in). That won't stop anyone looking at your browser history from knowing you looked at french chess porn, but otherwise it's the same as private mode as lichess doesn't have any trackers.

If you need incognito, there is always chrome.

worked on chrome, really awesome. It did mix up e4 and d4 though. needs further testing!

There have been fixes to voice in combination with speech synthesis. although, i noticed there is still a bug where iOS speech synthesis doesn't work after a page reload. That happens on lichess.org as well. I should really fix it or at least log it. :)
