When I started playing online some years ago, the web I was using allowed you to have some kind of automatic greeting that would be automatically copied&pasted in the chat window at the beginning of every game. It's a feature I really liked, because it kind of facilitates to engage in a conversation when you find a nice opponent.
I would suggest to add this feature if you like the idea.
