I believe that it would be interesting to organize from time to time ultrabullet tournaments starting from some position. But unlike tournaments devoted to some openings, ultrabullet or hyper bullet may be devoted to endgames. These could start with some symmetric position a-la rook and king vs rook and king OR b+K vs b+k and so on with at least two pawns on the board.
What do you think of the idea?
FYI, R+K vs R+K is a dead draw. Even with 15 seconds on the clock, you could premove that position to oblivion.
Not really. This would be a perfect endgame training in a time scramble mode. Also, with less pieces left there would be less possibility to deliberately make a mess out of a position with random sacrifices and checks, as it can be done in normal games.
Besides, starting position in normal chess also appears to be a draw to the mankind so far:)
Well, nothing is stopping you from creating your own tournament with position you like.
There is one thing, actually: it's impossible.
The point is that positions would be randomly picked by Lichess for each game within a tournament. Lego00 is right, you cannot organize your own tournament in that way.
