Hi there! I've been a chess enthusiast for almost 4 decades.
I love the game; I love the community; and thank you for your interest!
Mainly, I want to focus on illustrating the ideas that new and intermediate players might not be aware of, and illuminating my perception of chess.
I can pretty much remember all of the things that I needed to learn to advance to 2150, and I'm happy to show them to the viewers!
Chess, at it's best, is about identifying objectives and then seeing if tactics can be arranged in order to realize them.
But, as we all know, often there is no clear path from A-Z!
However, as different objectives are identified, and different tactical motifs are investigated, sometimes we can find overlapping themes where the best move sort of 'pops out' at us, like those 3D pictures when you stare at them long enough, and we can then discover and create chess at its most brilliant.
Also, maybe we'll have some chit-chat about the chess world and chess events if I find some closed positions or boring endgames!
Thanks for stopping in, and I hope that you enjoy!
