hello i'm interested in creating a 960 tournament with longer time control - how do i do this?
or at least with longer increments!
we've asked for this for a Very Long Time now... i don't understand the reticence to providing tournaments with longer controls...
i set up a 4+25 960 tournament for tomorrow at 7pm UTC-7 (24.2 hours from right now): lichess.org/tournament/pBqQ8Efc
@gute321 @travelgirl @LeonShernoff @ronald68 @j-e_p @aentrenus starting from tomorrow, we'll have non-stop Chess960 Tournaments created either by Lichess Chess960 Team or Lichess itself. This is how the new schedule looks like:
It also includes tournaments with longer time controls like 5+3, 10+0 or 10+2 (Daily Rapid).

thanks for organizing that. can you add 10+15 too @visualdennis
@gute321 Considering the free time slots, i'm afraid that is bit too hard to squeeze, 10+15 would require a long tournament duration..Maybe in the future, but currently let's see how this goes first.
sadly, non-stop "twitch" tournaments are not longer time controls... 1/2 + 0 tournaments in FRC? jeez, what a joke for most players... i'm sorry, but these aren't time controls for learning to play good chess.

You have plenty of free time slots for 15 10. Players who are doing 1 0 aren't going to be torn between that and a slower time control. You could do 15 10
3-6
4-7
or perhaps best:
15-19.
Easy peasy. Give it a whirl.
