Anyone else notice something odd?

Like, I get it, I am trash, but this week I have lost a pile of games to people whose accuracy was over 90%, and not during short games. People who have like, 2 inaccuracies and that's it over a 50 move game. And this is right around my own rating. Anyone else running into this?
I lost a game Sunday.. I had 88% accuracy (which surprised me somewhat) and my opponent had 92%. I lost because I made a couple of bad moves and I didn’t spot his errors. His end game was superior and I missed a move tHat pinned my queen that lost the game.

Game analysis showed clearly where I went wrong. Just because opponents have 90% accuracy it means nothing if you mess up and they didn’t.

That’s my take for what it’s worth.
Statistically, over large numbers, sooner or later you will incur into an unusually long streak of hard games.
There is no conspiracy, rare events happen.
yeah, me too - I ran into this. I play unrated now - suddenly they play like humans again.
Update.. I played a league match Tuesday... 0 mistakes/inaccuracies/blunders and 97% accuracy!! I can still scarcely believe it myself. I also missed a free pawn.

In another game, accuracy was under 70% and that was a truly terrible game. So my accuracy varies considerably.

Just because an opponent scores highly doesn’t actually mean they did anything suspect. Plus you might meet several different players who played well.. or you may just be playing badly and they punish your errors.

If players are playing constantly at very high 90% rates against equal or better players, then my understanding is that that could be an indicator that something is amiss. Or maybe they’re just playing lots of games against much lower rated players.

If people are cheating, they will eventually be caught.
