What's your favorite mouse?

Logitech G403 Wireless (or the newer G703 if you want wireless charging), best mouse I have ever used. Best sensor/tracking you can get with the lowest latency wireless implementation.

For reviews I recommend this channel:

He has the most complete reviews and a massive breadth of different mice.
I've always had a soft spot for logitech mice, the MX518 is incredible but hard to get nowadays, the G4000 has the same shell but a better sensor. Try to steer clear of Razer peripherals, a lot of the money you spend there goes into the packaging, the advertising, etc (And the clickers or the sensor screws up within a couple of years on avg.).
If you like small mice look into a Zowie mouse. It all depends really. Palm grip? Claw grip?
Just as a sidenote this is a preferencial thing but remember to disable mouse acceleration, Windows OS's have a little built in but you can easily kill it with a registry fix . The idea is to have as close to a 1:1 hand movement to pointer movement as possible, so you're not pixel skipping and are more accurate.
A lot of gaming mice are advertised as having these OMGSUPERELITE 90,000 DPI sensors, just set it to 800 ^^
Even the cheap mouse sensors are getting good these days, I have a £5 mouse from the local supermarket and it works perfectly :D
I use a Dell MS111-L.
If the surface is unusable, I just bring a sheet of paper with a piece of tape to stick it down.
#9 it is optical (laser), usb, has a cable, and the pad is my wooden desk or a piece of paper, like HyperOwl. It doesnt work when the pad is too smooth.

Yes, the mouse should be optical, thats relevant. Cable doesnt disturb me but if its not optical it has to be cleaned up regulary and it may suddenly stop working during a game.
