Wow lol. I dont know what I should do when reading #20, worry about humanity or laugh.
No no no, @BronsteinPawn, everyone who employs the Najdorf just need to git gud and realize it¨'s a bad defence! Because no GM every plays it, right?
The imbalance is the key. Almost always interesting games. When you learn the defensive and counter-attacking possibilities of Black you won't be easily beaten.
Here's one line that prompted my post. I'm sure there are better lines, but this is one possible Bg5 line. It's crazy that it's a draw!

@TheKillerSacrifice What are the beginning move of the Taimanov?
@theKnug Thank you for that insight! Do you play the Najdorf regularly?

Im rusty on Bd3 theory, but you should not be in trouble if you know your theory. I thought the mainline was with 15.Bh4 but this line does look weird.
There are some lines in which you simply have to really know your theory, and there are some others which you usually get on blitz when you dont have to know theory but ideas.

"Why do people like the Najdorf Sicilian?"
I only play the Black side of the Najdorf. If I can survive the middle game then I usually have good winning chances in the endgame. And I like endgames. Unfortunately I am often killed long before the endgame but I'm still going to stay with it.
I should try something else but I'm too lazy to study another opening.

@Masquerade Whenever I get the chance I play it. I study it more than I play it, though.
As @DVRazor mentioned, it very seldomly generates boring games, so it's quite enjoyable to simply go through the databases looking at games of the best. B90-B99 are the ECOs of the various Najdorfs, and as @BronsteinPawn mentioned, sometimes it comes down to simply knowing the theory, but at least for me it has been more about understanding when you can launch counterattacks and when you need to defend.
So more concept than raw line theory.
