Sicilian Defense: Najdorf Variation, Adams AttackBETA

45%49%

h3 meets black's high-class waiting move with one of their own. h3 prepares g4 and Bg2 or g5. Moreover, it's extremely flexible, so white can meet different black setups with different setups of their own.

Originally developed by Michael Adams in the 1980s, this odd looking setup actually prepares g4 in order to gain kingside space and potentially launch a kingside attack. By not playing f3, there is also room for playing f4 in the attack as well.
