More than 1 nickname.

Hello Dear Lichess Team,

Happy Holidays to you and thank you so much for the wonderful and fantastic year of 2016 on Lichess!

By the way I have 1 question.

I see that some famous players and/or streamers have more than 1 account here.

I would like to know the requirement for players who would also like to get more than 1 account.

I have read old topics and links about it and it's still unclear for me.

Thank you in advance and best regards,
Lance

"You can have 2-3 account if you don't play between them and if you do something different in each account."

"Indeed, but keep the number reasonable. No more than 3."

The "keep the number reasonable" and "don't play between them" are the most important. "do something different" is preferred because there's no reason to have two accounts for the same thing, but we will not just close an alternate account that does the same as the main account, unless the number of accounts is unreasonable or some kind of rule-breaking happens through these accounts.
I have one account I use to play, two accounts to cheat, two accounts to spam and troll, and one account to scam. Good?
@ProgramFOX
What happens if two accounts that belong to the same player, play in the same tournament and get automatically paired? Does one of them have to constantly avoid moving to prevent breaking your rules?

Is it ok to use many accounts at the same time against a single host at a simul?

Is it ok to bring multiple accounts to the list of top players and control more trophies?

Is it ok to use several accounts to vote several times at surveys and polls?

Is it ok to use several accounts to comment on each other's forum posts?
@Tangelo777 yah, I'm going to make multiple accounts (correction: use my multiple accounts) to increase my chance of being in one of Chessnetwork's simuls.
@ProgramFOX
More questions:
Is it ok for multiple accounts belonging to same person to follow each other and generate massive lists of followers?

Is it ok to use multiple accounts to play different variants on different accounts and spread out trophies? Players like @Lance5500 may run out of space and need many accounts to
have enough room to store all their trophies.

Is it ok to use many accounts to play rated games against random people? It's needed because simuls are casual and never rated.

Is it ok to use many accounts to join teams and make them very popular?
One such team is Lance5500 fan club. He may boost his popularity by having all his other accounts to join his teams. Actually there are lots of Lance5500 fan club teams on lichess:

en.lichess.org/team/maurice-ashley-aka-lance5500-fan-club
en.lichess.org/team/maurice-ashley-or-lance5500-fan-group

I hope I have covered all the reasons why @Lance5500 needs lots of accounts.
